Thursday 5th November 2015 - Hawks Nest

Have had a really nice stay at Yamba and now heading towards Hawks Nest for a couple of days.  Morning Tea was at Sawtell where there was a large storm heading our way.  Beautiful looking out towards the sea and watching the weather come towards you.  Stayed at the Hawks Nest Caravan Park and unfortunately once again not able to catch up with Sandy & Wayne, maybe next time. Went for a drive down to Mungo Brush which was where we were going to stay and luckily we didn't as it was quite full.  Still a really lovely spot with the lake on one side and the surf just over the road.  Had fish & chips at a table right beside the river at Tea Gardens and then to finish off a great day an ice cream.  Barry had managed to piss off Ken Numa by catching a very nice sized Tailor which will be made into yummy fish cakes.
