Sat 10th October 2015 Sofala - Cassilis

Thunder & lightening and a reasonable drop of rain at 4.30am this morning to wake us up.  I was having a bit of a panic as we are beside a stream that is in the bottom of a very steep gully and I had visions of the water rising and us getting swept away.....I have a very vivid imagination. Leaving our lovely camp spot and heading towards Mudgee as we work our way up to Maroochydore,  The road is very, very steep leaving this area and Barry was really working the gears to get us safely out of there. Have arrived in Mudgee and our first stop is the TI, we need a dump point as well as water and a bit of shopping. Barry has managed to find a camping shop so he can replace his beloved camp chair which is now broken.  He is very happy with his new purchase as it also reclines, life is a real bitch when you get old and need a recliner!!!!!!! Spent the night at Cassilis which was nice and quiet and we were tucked away at the back.
